This past week, it was such a blessing to see all the youth excited about reconnecting with their camp friends and for us counselors who are excited to see our previous campers once again. When I looked around in the beginning, I saw friends being greeted with warm hugs and buzzing about catching up on life. Even after evening devotions, campers still want to connect with those around and continue discussions. It got me thinking that God wants this excited connection with us too. He desires that same relationship with us, to hear our non-stop talking, to hear all about our situation, to seek Him out for advice. He’s our best friend, always waiting for His next chance to reconnect with us. This week, I encourage you to treat each moment you turn to God with youthful excitement because I know He’s excited to hear from you too!
