I am so excited for this upcoming Easter plan, the Amazing Easter Race, which the staff, elders and Outreach ministry group members have been plotting to create for the families in our church and community. Family teams of two people or more will face family-friendly challenges to earn clues for their next destination. I can’t wait to hear the laughter fill the halls as little feet race toward the next station (while parents, grandparents or caregivers are trying to keep up). The evening will end with a family time to take communion and ready our hearts for the Easter week as we remember the act of love our Lord Jesus displayed when he died and rose again for each one of us. What a memory this night will be! I am so thankful for the volunteers who will be stationed throughout the church to help create this event. I, for one, can’t wait to make some memories with my boys.
