I was so excited to report that our pictorial directories were on their way! We set up volunteers, were ready to track received directories, and within minutes of handing out the first directory, a flaw was reported.
I take the blame, and ask your forgiveness, for the mistakes in the printed portion. Corrected info inserts are in the works and will
soon be available.
It was disappointing. But I found a lesson, too. Often we get mesmerized by the pretty things about church, or the fun things, or we convince ourselves that as long as we “show up” for worship we are “covered” for the week. If we are not going to The Word every day (or at least once a day – that’s the great thing about God’s Word – we can ‘take as needed’!) and see what God wants to teach us, then we aren’t equipped the way God desires us to be. I love the book of John – if you look at your Bible and don’t know where to start, give it a try!
