It was a blessing to hear that several churches were represented during the annual Labor Day parade in Keokuk. It was an honor to have our ministry groups work together and receive a 1st place trophy representing the best religious float. However, what was more memorable was how another church came over to our float and asked to pray with us. We joined hands and prayed as one. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity! Psalm 133:1 The oneness that was felt goes with the saying “together, we’re better.” It felt good to see our friends in Christ the way God does-as one body of Christ. Where there is unity there is strength, growth and love to share with others. Lord God, Your blessings surround us. Help us to get along with each other. Help us to act like your people to everyone we meet. Amen.
