There is a joy I receive with the endless questions I get about how the world works and about our faith during our nightly family devotions from our two nine year old boys. It always opens up conversation to discuss deeper topics or makes us smile and reminds us to tuck that topic away to discuss again when another learning opportunity arises. Irish Statesman Edmund Burke says, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” We live in a fallen world and the temptation of evil is around every corner. In order to equip our kids to journey out into the world my husband and I need to make sure that our paths aren’t empty either. We need to draw close to our relationship with Jesus so we can have the wisdom to answer our kid’s questions. Wednesday night groups are a great way to open up discussions in youth groups and adult L.I.F.E. groups. This is an exciting time of the year for our church! Soon our church will be continuing on their Christian journey when youth and adult L.I.F.E. groups begin at 6:30, Wednesday, September 9.
