How many times do we give up when something doesn’t work the way we had hoped? Do we ever consider we might need to wait on God? God has a plan mapped out for each of our lives, but we often try to hurry ahead of him causing anxious or overwhelming emotions that allows us to slip into disbelief. We are tempted to complain when we have to wait, but we don’t stop to think that there is a purpose for this delay. Romans 8:28 reminds us that “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Changes aren’t always pleasant, but they are a part of life. Trust God to work out what is best for you despite the interrupted plans. “If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31b
