Time is getting closer… for our Adult Mission trip to Puerto Rico to help rebuild homes damaged from two hurricanes in 2017. This will be my first ever mission trip but, with no doubt, I will be traveling with many “veterans” of mission trips that will guide and direct me!
This is something I have always wanted to do, not knowing it could become a reality! Some may think it’s a “bucket list” adventure, but it’s not. Really, bucket lists are not my thing as I live day to day as my adventure. Life’s like a box of chocolates, you never know what each day will bring!!
I am anxiously beginning to pack my bags, purchase items needed and planning my work clothes. I know, I know, we’re not leaving until March 1… BUT, I’ve always considered myself like a Girl Scout, wanting to always be prepared! So, the packing, organizing, checking of my “to do” list will continue!
This brings me back to not thinking this was something I could do because of my work responsibilities. Instead, the church newsletter, The Spirit, will be an “email” version on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, so I can be & share the good news!
