Our mission leads us to be and to share the good news of Jesus Christ!

Don’t Miss an Opportunity

I have been known for missing things that are right under my nose. For instance, I’ve looked high and low for something I was already holding in my hand. Or I’ve asked for help finding something in the refrigerator only to have someone point out it was front and center the whole time.

Likewise, I haven’t always been particularly discerning. Once, when I was talking to my sister, she said, “Did you know they changed the spelling of gullible in the dictionary? It now has only one “L.” Of course, I said “Really?”
None of us gets it right all the time, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get it right some of the time.

This coming weekend will be the final installment of our sermon series “On a Mission from God.” Pastor Brian and I will be preaching on Jesus’ words, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” There are many opportunities to do ministry in the places YOU live and work every day. As Jesus said, “the harvest is plentiful.” So keep your eyes and ears open – because God has a mission for you!
