Every journey has a beginning and we get to see each week another step along the path of your journey with Christ as we check in sign-in sheets from Wednesday night activities, Sunday morning red attendance books and now even Facebook check-in updates. When you check-in each week it’s like you taking the time to stand up and be counted as one of Christ’s followers. When we see FB check ins, our hearts swell knowing our brothers or sisters in Christ aren’t afraid or embarrassed about his/her role in the kingdom. In Romans 1:16 Paul writes, “I am not ashamed of the gospel because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes…” Thank you for sharing where your journey begins, or even continues, when you check in at FCC. If you don’t already take the time to sign in when attending a FCC meeting, do so and grab the strength God gives to you. Your status update could be the encouragement someone in your circle of influence needs to begin their journey.
