As I reminisced about the many hands that worked to welcome, register, house, feed, and park our RAGBRAI friends, this hymn echoed in my mind – “When we all get together, what a day of rejoicing that will be!”. How true that is, my friends! One person could not have possibly completed all the tasks for last Friday and Saturday. And as one of the leaders commented, “The joy and conversation that rang through this building was such a blessing. It was nice seeing folks make new friends as they served together.” Where are you plugged in? Did you know three levels of involvement in church brings more joy to daily living? No matter your serving preference, we have an opportunity for you and need your gifts! If your main connection to our church is worship right now, be praying about where God would have you serving. If you are in worship and serving, begin praying about where God would have you learning. I’m ready to do some ‘rejoicing’ with you – let me help you get plugged in here at FCC!
