Everyone has a relationship in their life that needs an uplift. It could be with your spouse, kids-young or grown, parents, family, friends and/or co-workers. Denis Waitley quotes, “There are two primary choices in life: to accept conditions as they exist, or accept the responsibility for changing them.” It doesn’t take two to tango when it comes to relationships. One person in every situation is always changing the relationship through how they show up in the moment. God sent the promise to navigating a life full of happiness through a relationship with His son Jesus. Shifting to show heart felt compassion as God did with the people of Israel in Hosea 11 can relieve the people who you encounter of their fears and insecurities. God still loved Israel without changing His nature, even though they continually rejected him. Instead of expecting others to change, align with an obedient walk with God and see how everything changes. May your efforts, strength, energy and heart mirror God’s and lasting change take place.
