I am excited for another youth group year to get started! The FCC Kid hallway has a new look with fun color and designs, new curriculum is being introduced in 5th and 6th, and youth group leaders are prepared for another great year! It takes a mixture of great leaders and helpers and enthusiastic youth to make the evening run smoothly. The secret to the success of our youth groups goes beyond having age appropriate curriculum that match the children’s growing goals. We have a variety of loving adults who use their gifts to organize the lessons around specific age groups as they grow in their Christian maturity, lead discussions, communicate effectively with children and build one-on-one relationships with each youth. Without a complete team of volunteers, a youth group cannot be as effective. I am celebrating having an effective team that has a heartfelt focus to guide youth to love and follow our Lord Jesus Christ.
