Q. What do all superheroes have in common?
A. They fight for good.
Just like a superhero has to make that choice to use their gifts for good, we are also heroes in training. We are to focus on using our strengths and great gifts for the good of God’s Kingdom. But just like Kryptonite is Superman’s weakness, our enemy knows our weakness too and we are always dealing with a daily battle.
This summer during United Vacation Bible School we are going to learn about Bible heroes that do the unexpected. We will practice being heroes that take action, step out in our faith, stand for truth, and learn how save the day when we feel like we are under attack. The goal is to discover who we are fighting for and to choose good over evil. Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. 1Timothy 4:12
