Children Sermon: a moment in worship geared for young ones to hear a message just for them!
Youth Singing Groups: Children ages 2 years – 4th grade sing at the 10:05 service on a rotating singing schedule.
Heavenly Melodies: is an enthusiastic group of singers who are in 5th-8th grade. This group sings about once a month usually at the 10:05 service, but occasionally at Saturday Night Alive or Starting Point. This is the first opportunity for our youth to sing in a group outside of youth group. At practice we work hard to learn our music, but also have time for fun and fellowship. Practices are held each Wednesday from September through May from 5:45-6:25.
Children ages 2 years – 6th grade sing together the first Sunday of every month at Starting Point’s 11:11 service.
Offering Team: Youth 2nd – 8th grades are on a rotating schedule of collecting offering during the 10:05 service. Training is provided for these offering teams.
Kids’ Time: During Saturday Night Alive and Starting Point, children are dismissed for a Bible lesson with fun activities.
Noah’s Nook is a fun play area for toddlers in the same room so you can watch your little ones while listening to the message during Starting Point service.
Youth Weekend: Youth practice and present the sermon during all worship services once a year in the Spring
Quiet Room: The library is an adjoining room to the sanctuary by a window. This room can to be used as an alternative place to listen and engage in the Saturday Night Alive and Sunday 8:00 and 10:05 services.
Infant/Small Child Dedication: Dedications happen at various times during the year! Your child receives a Story Book Bible during this special time that we treasure in the life of this church, at whichever worship service you prefer. Call the church office (319) 524-5266 to arrange a dedication, or to find out when the next one is scheduled!
