Have you ever been around a hungry new born and their relentless hunger for their mother’s milk. Nothing outside of being fed will satisfy that baby’s desire. Many new Christians experience a similar hunger for the spiritual milk found in the Bible and like a child getting older, some Christians lose their thirst for milk and find other ways to satisfy their hunger. The spiritual milk found in the Bible; provides nourishment of the soul. It is not just milk for the new believers; it is also the solid food for mature believers. If we approach God’s spiritual milk with the same intensity as a baby desires its mother’s milk, we will enjoy time with God that surpasses even our best experiences.
