Many of my friends have told me how they wake up during the night and can’t go back to sleep. I normally don’t have that problem, but lately I have been waking just a little early. Now I can look at this condition as not being a problem, but a blessing. This week I read Psalm 119:148 My eyes are awake through the night watches, That I may meditate on Your word. Just possibly, may God be awakening me so that I can really mediate on His word, on how he wants to speak to me on this day or to bring someone to Him in prayer? Next time I wake early, I will rejoice in my God, the only One who deserves my praise and worship.
