Christmas is a special time when memories are created that last a lifetime, as we celebrate the love God has for us. The true meaning of Christmas can easily get lost as we get busy and excited about all the fun things we do to celebrate Jesus’ birth. In our busyness, we can forget how important His birth was not only to the people who saw Him as a baby, but also is to us today. God sent us a gift of salvation through His son Jesus. God’s perfect gift can change who we are on the inside and His light can show through our actions and words. Families have different traditions, but the real meaning of Christmas is still the same – Jesus. We are to share God’s plan that is full of grace and truth. We have free access to God’s Word and its teaching; use it this season to touch a life that has fallen into the mental familiarity of hearing the good news, but not believing it is for them. God’s gift of salvation is for each one of us! Accept His gift this year. Jesus really is the best Christmas gift!
