I would like to share how my love for the Bible began…I believed the Bible was written a long time ago and had no value to me, but when my father was sick in the hospital with cancer, I was sitting with him. At the time The Living Bible was newly published and somehow one ended up in his hospital room. One night, I picked it up and began to read, finding unexplainable comfort. It may have been the Holy Spirit or that it was written in a version I could understand, but I began to read and have not quit reading since then. The Bible is God’s love letter to you. Start reading so when the time comes, you will receive the comfort and love only He can give.
